Comhgairdeas to the Tipperary Senior Footballers on their historic win in The Munster Senior Football Final on Sunday. It was a well-deserved win for this group of players who have put in a massive effort for the last number of years. The few veterans with up to 15 years inter-county service blended brilliantly with the All Ireland minor medalists of 2011 and the Under 21 finalists from 2015. They played excellent football on the day in a highly entertaining match, a fitting and emotional tribute to their fellow county men of Bloody Sunday fame. Mí ádh to our Senior Hurlers who put in a massive effort v Galway in the All Ireland Quarter Final on Saturday but unfortunately lost out in the end. Comhbhrón: It is with great shock and
sadness that we learnt of the untimely passing of one of our coaches and club
member, Bryan Ringrose, after a short illness. Bryan coached with our Under 7 group
from their earliest days in the club. He was a welcoming face and made coming
to the field fun for all the kids and he will be sorely missed. Bryan’s son
Jack is an ever present with our U7 group. |
