Faoi 6: Our U/6 groups had their final training session of the year on Saturday last. There was fierce excitement from each individual pod group when they discovered they were all getting a medal to mark their first year at the club. This bunch made history by being the very first group of kids in the club to have their first training sessions online during the lockdown.  Since then, they have gone from strength to strength, training every week and playing blitzes along the way. They have all been fantastic and we look forward to seeing more of them in the years to come. Thanks to all the parents for taking the time to bring the children training and to all the coaches for the great work they do in teaching the children the skills, while also having loads of fun along the way. Medals were presented separately in each group by individual coaches in line with Level 3 guidelines.

Comhbhrón:  CLG Tulach Sheasta extends sympathy to the family of the late Billy Bradshaw. Billy was a popular member of the community, was renowned as a skilled tradesman and became involved in many local clubs and organisations. He became particularly well known for his association with the Newport Drama Group and helped produce many plays.  He was a keen follower of hurling and he served as a member of the Newport GAA committee in 1974 and '75.
