They put in a perfect performance and the result when it was announced was greeted with wild celebrations from the large group of supporters in the TF Royal Theatre for the competition. Seniors: Hard luck to our Senior Hurlers who were beaten in the 1st round of the North Senior Championship by Borris- Ileigh last Sunday in Dolla. Unfortunately, we did not take enough of our scoring chances in the 1st half when playing with the wind and went in trailing by a point at half time. Borris-Ileigh proved to be the better team in the 2nd half taking full advantage of the strong wind and ran out winners on a final scoreline of 0-20 to 0-09.
