Under 7/8:   Our hurlers took part in a blitz recently at Lacken Park, with teams from Nenagh Éire Óg, Thurles Gaels, Ballinahinch and Sean Treacys. We had 50 players representing Tulach Sheasta, and they all played really well. Thanks to all the parents who helped in providing refreshments for the teams after the blitz and to the visiting clubs for joining with us to make it a great morning.

Under 10: We travelled to Naas GAA Club last Sunday for an action-packed day of hurling. There were teams participating from Wexford, Limerick, Cork, Tipp, Kildare and Galway. One of our teams lost to Dicksboro in 'A' final and we defeated Eire Óg from Cork in the 'B' final. Congratulations to the lads on some great performances and thanks to all the parents who travelled. Thanks to Naas GAA for a super day. We hope to host Naas in Newport later in the year.

Under 12: Our Purple team played Borrisokane in the North Hurling championship last Tuesday evening at Lacken Park. We started strongly and despite the efforts of the Borrisokane side, our players took control of the game. This continued in the second half and Tulach Sheasta ran out comfortable winners. Well done to all the players.

Family Fun Day: We are all set and ready for a fabulous Fun Day at Lacken Park this Sunday. Lots of activities, barbeque and fun. The cow is being well fed this week, so that we can have a super Cow Poo Bingo. Join us from 12 noon until 4pm. Admission free.

Sympathy: Deepest sympathy to the Koyce family, Clonbealy on their recent bereavement.
