Intermediate Hurling: The Intermediate Hurlers are fixed to play Gortnahue-Glengoole in the County Preliminary Quarter Final this Sunday at 12 noon in Moneygall. Please support the team as they recommence their interest in the County Championship.

Junior Hurling: Unfortunately our Junior Hurlers campaign came to an end with a 2-9 to 3-08 loss to Portroe in the North Final in Kilcolman last Sunday. These lads have put in a big effort all year but it just wasn't to be on the day. They can be positive with a relatively young team and a lot of players being bred through the grade this year.

The U8's had a another busy day as they played Cappawhite on Thursday evening last in Lacken Park. The wet weather did not deter the young hurlers again on Saturday morning last when they played Parteen in Lacken Park. Thanks to Cappawhite and Parteen for making the trip to Newport in great numbers.

Night at the Dogs: Our annual fundraising 'NIGHT AT THE DOGS ' will take place on Saturday, October 8th at Limerick Greyhound stadium. Nominate a dog for €50 and get two free admission tickets. The overall nominator wins €200. We hope to make it a special night as the Liam McCarthy and Irish Press cups will be on display.  A Great family night, adult admission is €10 with Juveniles in for free. Your support will be greatly appreciated. Contact any committee member to become a nominator or for tickets. Let's make it a great night!
