Thank you to all the Children and their Parents for attending the Annual Juvenile Presentation Evening on Sunday last. It was a very enjoyable evening. Congratulations to Jordan Young who was named as Young Player of the Year.
Congratulations also to P.J. O' Rourke on receiving an award from the North Board for his outstanding service as a referee. Well done P.J. and thank you for your service as a player and official on behalf of C.L.G. Tulach Sheasta

Handball

Congratulations to Newport Handball Club's Johnny Ryan on a very successful weekend.  Starting on Saturday the 23rd, Johnny won the Cumann na mBunscoil Boys U13 Singles Tournament.  Johnny who was representing Newport Boys National School, beat Burgess in the Quarter Finals and Cashel in the Semi Finals.  In the final which proved to be a battle of the Ryans, as Johnny met David Ryan (Silvermines), with the Newport man being the stronger on the day.  Johnny will now go on to represent Tipperary in the Munster U13 competition.

On Sunday the 24th Johnny was once again successful at the Tipperary Boys U13 Doubles trials.  The trials were strongly contested by players from Ballina, Newport and Ballyporeen.  Johnny and Kyle O'Gorman (Ballyporeen) will now go onto represent Tipperary in the Munster Finals.

Best of luck to our U17 Doubles Devlin Courtney and Mikey Ryan who will compete in the first round of the Munster Finals in the coming weeks. (Please see photo attached for picture of Johnny Ryan)

Sympathies
The death has occurred of Pat Ryan (Lacken) Gurtnaskeha, Newport , who in the 1970's was involved with the Juvenile club and continued to be a staunch supporter of C.L.G. Tulach Sheasta.
We would like extend the sympathy of the club to Martin, Marie , Patrick and Seamus and the extended Ryan family.
