Harty Cup
Congrats to Jack Delahunty who was corner back on the Ard Scoil Ris team that beat Rochestown College in the Dr. Harty Cup Quarter Final last Wednesday. They will now play St Colman’s Fermoy on Saturday January 30th in the semi-final.

National Draw
Tickets are on sale at €10 each from any Committee member, great prizes to be won.

Membership
Fees are now due for membership of Newport GAA Club for 2016 and it has to be paid by March 31st for members to have a vote at the AGM.  Membership can be paid to any Committee Member or to Alfie O Brien (Registrar).

Congratulations
Well done to Cian Flanagan on being selected as North Minor Footballerof the year for 2015. Newport missed out on the Overall North Tipperary Club of the Year to a deserving Kiladangan.

Presentation Night
Newport Juvenile Club will be holding its annual Presentation Evening this Sunday 24th January in the
Community Centre at 6pm.

Handball
Congratulations to Devlin Courtney on winning the North Tipperary U16 Singles final, beating Conor Bourke (Ballina).  Barry O’Meara and Mikey Ryan have progressed to the Munster semi-finals in the U17 Doubles and they will be taking place in February. John Ryan and Oisin Kennedy were beaten in the North Tipperary U13 Doubles final.
Memberships for 2016 are now being accepted by all club officers and new members are always welcome to train in Newport College courts on Tuesdays and Friday evenings from 4.30pm to 6.00pm.

Scór
Scór na bPáistí Parish Final will be held on Sunday 7th February at 3pm in Birdhill Community Centre. Please come along and support all of our local primary schools.
Scór Sinsear County Final will be held Saturday 20th February in Clonmore. Plenty of time to get your acts together.
